When I started running a year ago I couldn't even run a 40min 5k without hitting maxHR. Currently training for sub 22. Consistency is the key.

@noeidee924

My baseline 5km run was 55 mins. After 6 months, I can now complete it at 35. Currently training for it to be 30 and hopefully, I will be able to do it under 24 mins by the end of year.

@ILikeHistory3

My first time running under 20mins felt like I was booking it the whole time

@PA-qv2dy

My 24 and 25 minute 5Ks sure feel like I’m running harder than that!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@DeadOrAliveGames

3 months ago my first 5k was 39 mins ! It Was awful, 3 months later I'm now on 25mins and still improving every week. It was a wake up call to how unfit I truly was , and now I'm addicted, I run 5k every other day now and my main goal is a half marathon then maybe a marathon in a couple of years. And I want to get below 18 mins 5k. Im now at 20 min 01 5k 😎

@SamTankko

My legs aren’t that long, so 10 kph hour probably looks like me full blown running πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ˜

@lily-zv2fb

Remenber speed looks different since everyone is different. I am a sprinter and runner i am short so i need to take more steps than someone taller for example. If you want to improve your 5km pratice running slow, do intervals runs and slowly run longer distances to build your endurance

@kenyonlanders2888

One year ago I ran 5km in 30 mins on the road and now I can run 5km in 19:33 on the road. On a treadmill my best is 18:51. I was a former smoker. From January 2024 until September 2024 my 21.1km dropped by 30mins from sub 2:06 to sub 1:36

Do the runs no one else will do that have insane hills and get in the gym and condition your entire body. Get the running form right. Learn the difference between the body using fat for fuel vs carbohydrates and when what is required. Learn where your lactate threshold zone is and work on pushing it further away.

Be patient with yourself. Set goals. Don't rush. Slow progress is still progress

@cliffcox7643

I have a knee replacement and i'm fifty eight years old. I could not run before the knee replacement because it just killed me. I was too tired and too painful. No I run and I've worked up to 40 minutes and I'm an even more pain, but I just premeditate with tailanon motrin. And just do it. I think my mental toughness has gotten stronger with age. Even though i'm physically declining.

@irunoffroad

I appreciate the benefits of running indoors but the call of the countryside is what excites me πŸ’š

@hes1shot671

Last year I ran running 30-27min 5k’s first ever time doing it. Now hitting somewhere between 26 and 24 min just injured my right leg though LOL

@BlakeNFriends

25 looks so easy, yet it feels like a sprint after 2 miles

@nokoh

Finally a video with low veiws thats actually good most of them are some low effort copy cat

@Szzzzx

Here I am training for the 30 πŸ˜…

@josephereaux6921

Guys, your running form will change how it looks to run at certain paces. Got a buddy from HS who looked like he couldn't sprint a 7min mile but ended up running 15:30

@Nofrontleverforme

Did my first ever 5k today I finished at 27.40 10,9km/hπŸ™‚

@isaiah-or7kq

@sergiu9751

I have 120 kg and my 5km time last time was 27, working now to improve it.

@waffleboy4276
