@Kristoffer-z3v

Polymega is the most expensive way to play games on an emulator.

@AG-bp3ll

The fact that you have to check to make sure something isn't a CD-R. Thanks Limited Run games.

@TesseractUnfolded

Nice review! Lot to catch up on... They've been releasing these pretty fast over the past few months. Couple of notes: PMCDs are DVDs. 'PMCD = PolyMega Collection Disc'. The secondary discs for Fighters' History Dynamite and Breakers are actually playable on genuine NeoGeo CD systems... Not just the Polymega!

@marvinburger7153

Thank you for being a bright spot on youtube

@SimonBannow

Anything physical media is a positive in my world, but I don't have the money to get into the PolyMega hobby.

@obsoleteworlds

The pin badges being directly under a scratchable disk seems a bold move. Evercade cases also frequently explode open due to extras not fitting well.

@silverian

This collection brings back those times and memories when playing games in the Arcade Game Hall.

@smokeyarcade

I love my polymega. I haven't bought any of the collections yet though.

@joeynolan304

I'm liking these! The reversible covers, pin, and color manuals are a very nice touch! I've been planning to add a PolyMega to my collection.

@Evercade_Effect

Thanks for breaking this down and sharing! I wish Evercade would have done this with the different versions early on. šŸŽ‰

@RedRanger2001

For those who does not have a Polymega (I know most of you don't), there will be a Polymega app for your computer sometimes this year...

@moshpit3

Interesting video. I think it's questionable where you say a few times, when referencing the poor packaging, that these games 'aren't that expensive' - I think they really, really are, certainly well out of my (and I suspect many others) price range.

On a side note, anyone else think 'Goal Goal Goal' looked like International Superstar Soccer?! Loved that game.

@FirstLast_Nba

Tiger-Heli never gets old, thank you GOG.

@kainhighwind2

My problems with all of these is that they cater to an increasingly older audience. I'm 35 and every single one of these games is just far before my time. Where's the love for the 32 bit era?

Why they didn't get the PS1 remakes of a lot of these classics? Atari and Activision were really big on remakes of stuff like Pong, Frogger, Asteroids and the like in the 90s for PS1 and N64.

@unorthdoxcleric6953

Gonna start saving as I just love this system and now that physical games are coming out I'm in.

@WMARUoriginal

These collections are way better than I expected, BUT they really bungled the pricing. On Evercade, we get great game collections on a real cartridge for $20-25 USD so charging $35-40 for a CD (or two CDs) is too much. If these were $20 each, I'd pick them all up and a Polymega to support it.

@Spacemutiny

I dont get this. None of these games seem like must haves. Just the cheapest arcade games to license that you'll spend two minutes on and then forget. I'd rather just emulate them.

@josephkarl2061

I’d buy a Polymega for the single reason of being able to play the game from the disc or install it. I wish more systems gave you that option šŸ˜Ž

@spacepope8495

$35-$40 is an insane price for the same arcade game 8 times

@LampHatScott

How did I not know about the polymega earlier? I could replace my Saturn and PS1 with this. But knowing me I would not do that. I want to experience Sega CD at one point so I'll consider it in the future.
