Lord Marshalls last choice was whether to be killed by Riddick or his subordinate. He chose to be killed by Riddick because at least that guy gave him a fair fight and proved himself.

Really wish ‘Riddick’ continued with this expanded universe! It was basically a rehashed Pitch Black. But nonetheless, Chronicles of Riddick was and still is awesome !

Thandie Newton (Dame Vaako) was planning probably the whole thing for years, or maybe even whole her life.... and she was about to become "queen" and Riddick took it from her... the scream was perfect... and also, she lost it all and everything, most likely even HER LIFE! So she screamed "NOOOOO" as she is about to die/be killed... Riddick could order to kill them both...

An underrated film if I do say so myself. Wasn’t quite what I expected but this was a very fun, solid, action packed adventure that did a good job of world building the universe of Riddick, and Vin Diesel is practically the man’s man.
