I tried this with my dog and all he did was waited for the treat and tried to smack the toy away from my hand to get to the treat😂I think my dog is a little bit different

My teaching was more situationally based. She had crap in her mouth, I said DROP DROP and took it out of her mouth. That happened a few times and she learned DROP DROP with no treats or clicker
