Imagine being a cactus, never seeing snow in your life, not even knowing what the heck it is, just happy in the heat of the desert. and then a small white glob pelts you on your body, causing that part of you to have a cold you've never experienced before. i would be freaked out if i were the cactus. Based off of my silly, throw away comment, i have been educated on how a cactus does indeed work.
