What do you store in it? It looks like it holds something. Someone in the comments said it looks like it's for a potion bottle and I like that idea. I could definitely see something like this as a holder around a potion/perfume bottle and given as a gift. You could even put potpourri in something like this and hang them in random places. Forget the dirty-minded comments. Lots of things in this world can remind you of something else. It all depends on who is looking at it.
