I wish the lead-up to Doomsday was more planned. In Infinity War, the focus was on the journey and character relationships. It feels wrong to skip that in the build-up to Doomsday.

Brave New World should’ve been about how Sam gets the team together for the first time and we probably would’ve had a better idea as to who’s in the current Avengers roster after five years of being in the dark.

I mean, the Avengers reassembled in the beginning of Age Of Ultron offscreen and I didn't mind that However this leads to my biggest problem with this new saga as a whole: Sam should've been rebuilding the Avengers since his TV show. I'm one of those people who did enjoyed Brave New World, but after he became Captain America in the TV show, he should've been trying to rebuild the team, via showing up in post credit scenes up til now trying to recruite both old heroes and new heroes. That way, it could've built up more interest as time went on

You know what I wish they would do again? The marvel one shots. Short bit of extra content they can post on disney+ that can help explain the formation of sams avenger team but didn't fit in the movie.

Shuri is believable because she did Sam's new suit and insane upgrades. He flies faster than a jet rn. His tech makes him survive the battles.

They should do these as a series of shorts, like the one-shots they did earlier in the MCU, between 5-10 mins long each, and just release them online once a week or something leading up to Doomsday’s release. It’ll build interest and the fans will definitely eat it up

i personally don’t mind them assembling off screen as long as we don’t have a crazy jumpscare character who just appears with no explanation (i.e nova or spider-woman. this probably wont happen, i’m just giving examples)

Shuri isn't that disconnected either. Both Bucky and Sam are close to the Wakandans and Sam got new wingsuits as a gift from the Wakandans, so it is safe to assume he's at least in contact with either Shuri or M'Baku or maybe both. And for the assembling, he only needs to assemble one person realistically, WONG. After speaking to Wong, ONCE, rest all is literally just going through portals and saying, "Hey you're on the Avengers, welcome/welcome back, great to have you." And yes, the audience is smart enough to piece it together and we need as much time as possible to set up and carry Doom in the story.
