The best part is when you allow us to look at the node setttings in full. Really appreciate that and very effective when we want to come back and look at the whole thing.

@bigboss9150

You're raising the next generation of 3d filmmakers and developers. Crazy good quality

@jefflaclair62

I've been looking for this for months, I've been using a texture brush and haven't had good results, thank you

@longuemire748

Thank you for this tutorial.

@MRUStudios

How cool is this! This is a really cool effect. Thank you for sharing the shader node setup you created as well to allow us to play around with it ourselves.

You're the best Pierrick. Thanks so much for everything you do!

I hope you have a great rest of your week my friend! πŸ˜ƒ

@blenderstuffs

Your English is much better now.πŸ‘
Appreciate your hard work.

@gonderage

Awesome! This set up took more than I thought it would, but it's completely doable. Carving details like this does beat having to sculpt them in for sure, I'd love to try this next time I sculpt ruins or whatever

@AlfredRehbach

Thanks awesome tutorial! Almost spilled my tea at the "bΓΆmp" though ;)

@mszczesnik

Awesome tutorial Pierrick!

@Suisassi

AMAZING, I love this, Super 😁πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸš€

Merci Pierrick

@jiki3d

very good! thks

@PatchNote_Jones

Awesome technique, I will definitely use this for some ruins or something! One suggestion: for the issue with inverted/not inverted texture colors using clip (around 4:25), would it not be a bit easier to (in this specific case) use the "extend" projection instead of "clip?" Obviously that wouldn't work if the texture went all the way to the edges of the image, but for decals it might be a bit faster.

@mikefernandez403

Hello Pierrick and thank you very much for this amazing turotial! I had one question, as you explained in the video, I tried to use the smear tool to paint my texture and it works perfectly on Evee but the result is quite bad on cycles, do you know how could I improve that please?

@-The_Architect-

Could you do an actual tutoral on how to make the rock like you did? i can not figuere out how you made it look like that, nothing i try with the sculpting works.

@octopusfly

Wizard!

@pikachufan25

So Pointyness works in Cycles and works best under "dence" Geometry.
