the thing with Nuclear is...we are already 30 years behind where we should be, they should have been up and working long ago, and the politicians who won't declare their shares portfolios are always going to be scaring the sheeple with stories of monsters under the bed, they are profit driven and have not had the interest of the people in mind for many decades

exactly right, same with a lot of industries. although imagine if all those with battery systems in their homes could sign up to a managing company, install a monitoring system in their batteries and act like base load power and sell to the grid (mainly during peak demand) . much like the current solar system but with proper bargaining power.
