In summary: Countries are being individually called upon to (re)arm themselves, regardless of any agreements that may be forthcoming. If a collective (EU) defense expansion occurs soon, it would entail an increase of 650/800 billion euros over a 4-year period for those countries that can afford it (coalition members), and 150 billion euros in loans to help finance and enable jointly coordinated procurement and the defense apparatus for countries that cannot yet afford it but for which the expansion of the defense apparatus is already necessary/desired, and to which private investors are also being called upon.

As an EU citizen I am expecting our politicians to defend the continent. Otherwise all the millions of people that fought for freedom in WW2 passed for nothing. We cannot go backwards, like the USA is currently doing.

As a European citizen, I expect our leaders to stop talking and start delivering. We are facing an existential crisis, with both the U.S. and Russia at our doorstep. Ignore the Kremlin agents (Hungary and Slovakia) and move forward! Stop sending them EU money or throw them out. Time to move forward with countries that have the same mindset!

we ve just got our europe back! i also want to thank the polish PM for his "500 mil europeans ask 300 mil americans to defend them against 140 mil russians". this very much put things in the right perspective
