@1stepcl0ser

idk why it is so odd to never have been in a relationship by 22? i think thats still very young. some people just dont meet someone they are interested in until they are older, or they have other things to deal with. or it just doesnt happen for them. i know people in their 30s who are still single and dont have much experience. i think the "shaming" should stop tbh. i know stephanie never said anything about shaming jared but still, it always sounds as if people who are a certain age and still single are the weird ones and theres something wrong with them.

@kateytheking

I knew Jared personally as a kid. I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life. He often frequented our neighborhood pool in the summer months. I dont know if he actually lived there or not. & He was a jerk to put it nicely. He would lay right at the pools edge to get a good look at us kids, I was probably 9 to 11, and yet so mad when he got splashed. Like there wasn't plenty of sunlight in places further back from the water. It was like we were supposed to just be his kids to look at and nothing else. And he would STARE. Not like most people who sunbath. They lay back, relax, read a book, or take a little nap. NOt Jared. He even tried being all nice to my mom one time and make conversation. She ignored him though because she saw the way he looked at all of the kids. Plus she didn't like the way he had yelled at us before for being kids at the pool. He's total scum. And I'm glad he finally got caught.

@old_lady_pending

You mention at 12:19 that Jared is the most celebrated public figure doing horrific things. I would greatly appreciate your take on Jimmy Saville. Jared got caught. Jimmy did the same stuff with way more access to children (let to wander children's hospitals for example) for decades and decades, and never got caught. It all came out after his death.

@BooglePoots

It's genuinely terrifying how hard it is to tell the difference between people who dedicate their lives to children to protect them, and the people who dedicate their lives to children to harm them

@MiroirNoir

Stephanie, please research Jimmy Saville, one of the most celebrated people of the 20th century in the UK. He was a monster beyond words and your description of Jared reminded me so much of Jimmy. He was hiding in plain sight with his children’s program that ran for several years and had amounted an astounding amount of power, money and influence that went all the way up to the royal family. There is a great Netflix documentary about him and many, many things out there that I am sure you would like to dive in. Thank you for exposing these monsters and may God bless you and your loved ones.

@MikaelaDrouin

I love how unsympathetic you are about this piece of garbage. My father was a pedophile (who never got jail time but was stabbed to death by his girlfriend thankfully) and I have zero compassion for anybody who sexualizes children or are pedophiles, rapists, or abusers of any kind. I personally believe in the death penalty in those cases. So thank you so much for covering this case and so many others like it. I truly believe in the importance of sharing things like this and informing people, so thanks again. Positive thoughts to you and your family ✌

@hayleyferry1123

Rochelle was so brave and selfless. I can't even imagine how hard it must have been to listen to that! She saved children, thank you Rochelle!

@rueg6775

the fact that rochelle was threatened with arrest and was essentially forced to continue interacting with jared is disgusting. it’s the law enforcement systems job to catch these people and i can only imagine what she went through in this process my heart goes out to her

@terimichelle8063

“Pasty a** creepy a** pied piper” is a wild quote 😂😂 I love Stephanie 😂😂😂

@Fireproofwitchnz

Fun fact: Jared began eating at the Subway near his house because he became obsessed with a young teen girl who worked there. He would go in and hang around, make creepy comments etc. She wound up moving stores to avoid him and guess what Jared did? He began walking the 2 miles to her new Subway store each day!! That's how his weight loss TRULY kicked off.

@tiffanymerritt9757

"A man that travels around the country clutching onto his pants and telling everyone about his pants is not a man I would trust." Greatest quote ever!! I love the way you weave humor into your brilliant storytelling.

@morganavery2527

My uncle worked as a forensic detective mostly in children’s cases, and it was HARD when a missing child’s case would be unresolved. He would stop sleeping. They became his kids.

@katyhoff5924

"His brain that had clearly turned into a Veggie Delight sandwich. All mushy and stupid."

Can we just take another minute to acknowledge how amazing this quote really is? Spot on Stephanie. 😂

@sarahchillomg2946

I remember this man coming to my school as part of the Schools for Healthy Lifestyles campaign, a program that gave me an eating disorder after my mother put me on weight watchers at the ripe old age of 9. Truly a stellar career this guy had.

@Neyagrl

I knew OF this scandal, but haven't seen anyone I follow cover it in detail before - so thank you! Guys like this deserve to have their shameful acts re-publicized periodically to keep them from being forgotten about so he doesn't get comfortable.

@sarahfrench113

When you were discussing how celebrated Jared was, there is someone that comes to mind as having been more celebrated. I really suggest (or don't suggest tbh) looking up Jimmy Saville in the UK. He was a children's presenter who raised money for charity, visited sick kids in hospital, etc. Unfortunately his crimes only came to light after he died, but people definitely knew.

@jhoneyvvs

When she said "while Jared traveled around, waving his pants in the air and stalking middle school children" I died 😂 what a weirdo, why didn't we see it before

@charlesmartinjr3971

Stephanie, I'm with you - Jared's mere MENTION of putting a camera in my kids' rooms would have made me start looking for a place to hide a body.

@aro5490

Sadly this guy lived in my hometown. He was arrested just a few miles from where I live, so this case was a big deal here. Glad you are covering this story. It’s so disturbing.

@mikalalocklin5917

The fact that she kept her cool when he asked about her children, I applaud her... because I would not have had that much self-control.
