“If you target a muscle, it will grow.” WOW DEEP ADVICE THERE!!
Context: He saying that going that heavy doesn’t allow for full range of motion for MOST people. You need to go lighter and deeper to hit the muscle more efficiently. It’s not about being stronger, it’s about growing.
He is speaking about the mind-muscle connection!
At first i thaught he was saying go heavier
Keeping shoulders back Also keeps you stable, locked and loaded to protect against those pesky rotator cuff injuries.👍🏾
Bro that's heavy af for me
Angles baby angles.flat 30 and 45 degree incline presses ,same with fly movements plus use pullovers and dips - shit works if your nind is in the muscle
Try reverse grip flat bench, works upper chest 30% more than inclined, really works
If i Alternate my right and left foot and take a step im walking, now if i speed it up im running. See the difference in pace. Theres many benefits, to alternating the steps you take. 😊
It’s true. You really have to focus on technique and stretching the muscle.
Best coach ever
❤Decline pushups(36") if you don't have an incline bench. ❤
I’m 6’2 and 220, the only weight iv been going up to is either 60s and 70s on days that I feel good, I’m almost 40 and that works for me..do what works for you👍🏼
World best coach❤❤❤
Start with db incline 3 sets, drop to 1/2 incline 2-3 sets, then 2 sets flat. Been lifting for a long time and this has provided fast gains. Following all the YouTube stuff but Arnold mentions various angles in a workout and my best gains are coming from that approach. He never mentions changing multiple incline angles during a workout in any article or book. If you’re getting stale - try it. This along with the above video on form should help.
People that aren’t doing 100lbs dumbells for incline press, aren’t doing 100lbs dumbells because they can’t, you’re chest will still grow
I’m barely at 80 for 10 reps lol
I do cardio for maximum chest gains
Heavy is great to a point but I’ll take 100lbs 15-20reps and being on 🔥 over a pec tear. … and yes this is coming from someone using 100s as first working set. Basic movements are incredible …. Weight is finite and based on the individual
