The square shaft, at 22:07, without any shoring seems a bit hazardous.
Love ancient history documentaries… do we need another channel to share the exact same videos as Timeline, Odyssey, chronicle channels. Just worried about clicks over content these days it seems
I recently went to the museum of fine arts Boston MA and saw the sculpture of King Menkaura (Mycerinus) and queen, amazing art work
Joann, you covered almost everything, but where is the kings house, we would like to see inside it.
I cant imagine how much history is under that sand waiting to be discovered.
“They were people very much like us” “They drew pictures for a reason, maybe magic to influence the hunt, we can only guess” We make art for art’s sake. We draw because we like to and if we’re good at it we get compliments. Even if nobody sees our art we can’t not paint or draw. What people see in it can be totally different from person to person and day to day. The most logical reason why someone drew on the rocks: they could. They were good at it.
The time periods don’t add up, it’s not likely the Sahara became desert over 10,000 years ago because we have maps recording rivers and lakes, it would mean nomadic hunter gatherers possessed and passed on those maps, which would have had no value to them, for thousands of years.
Earth tilt 10,000 years ago ? Are you referring to the gradual precession change ?
I found you through Odyssey 😊
Came here from odyssey channel 👍
I have always wondered if they had elephants.
Ditto!
“Death is only the beginning.” -The Mummy. 😉
