Thank you for this great video, I could not figure this thing out until I found this video, the instructions it came with were not understandable at all. Now I got it working great and I love it. Don't use up all the power when you have it unplugged because you will lose the time settings and etc.

I got this Secondhand Dashcam for $12, just arrived yesterday. I put the dashcam in my car with 16GB Class 6 memory card, I don't get the 32GB Card because it was secondhand. And today I check the footage from the dashcam, I'm very shocked because some clips is corrupted and the date and time goes back to 2017/01/01. I checked the dashcam and plugged it in. The screen is not showing anything, all i see is black screen. It doesn't turning off when i plugged off the power cable, maybe that's why the date and time is resets to 2017/01/01 because it drains the battery. Then i tried to use 32GB Class 10 memory card, and it worked again. What i like from this dashcam is it can use Watermark (License No Set) so i can put my license plate in the video, and this is my first 1080p dashcam that is REAL 1080p, I like the video quality from this dashcam. What I dislike about this dashcam is it doesn't want to record in Class 6 SD Card, and the camera is suddenly turned off when i plugged off the dashcam, then goes start itself and turning off again. That's why i lost some footage in the dashcam. That's makes me curious when accident happen, i got no prove because the footage is lost. I hope the dashcam is not making some problems again in the future. Sorry for my bad English

I live in Sunny Phoenix Arizona where the sun will destroy almost anything. I'm worried about the heat resistance of the battery, but on this model you said there is something that helps protect it. Do you recommend this or anything else for a place like AZ where temps are insane? Thank you for taking time to make these videos.
