What an epic troika! That meal at Tokki was a dream. (You never mentioned the eggplant. How was it?) The ASMR on the banh mi made my mouth water and the toasties made me tear up with longing. Pip is going to come out with intact incisors and a hunger for bread, meat and noodles! Sending big love. 🙌❤

Good to see you back in Auckland! Everything at Tokki looked great, but what really had me drooling was the banh mi. The crunch on that bread was insane, and the veggies were so fresh and vibrant. YUM!!! The cheese toasties looked good, too...though I'm not a fan of sourdough. Maybe being grilled with all that butter, and offset by the sweetness of the caramelized onions, it wouldn't bother me.
