We made many visits to Laos and Thailand. But we love Lao people and we like the country. We plan to retire there in couple years.

I just got a deep bow greeting/thank you today after I held the door open for a young Asian girl (but she most likely is not Laotian). Anyway, I never got such a greeting when I was a young man.
