To be honest, more than half the people in India have their entire day's food within Rs 200. My breakfast is 4 idlys 2 vada - Rs 30, Lunch is Rice - Rs 60 and dinner is 4 chappathis - Rs 40. It's really more than enough to survive two days with the amount you had.
