"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. All of this in this insignificant, pale blue dot" -Carl Sagan
Can't believe this is 6 years old already. Still an amazing song!
Mother Earth sounds like Dark Souls; it is simultaneously beautiful and terrifying.

Hey lovelies, enjoy this remix of a song that's a little bit topical right now :) List of changes below. Free download here for a couple of days: https://miracleofsound.bandcamp.com/track/mother-earth-2017 Don't forget you can support me on patreon to hear all my work early! https://www.patreon.com/miracleofsound Changes from the original: 1. Adjusted the snare drum & kick drum balance - the snare was previously getting lost behind all the guitars & vocals while the kick was obnoxiously clicky & loud. 2. Vocals were FAR too loud & domineering before, now they are quieter. I can't stand super loud vocals in music, though I know some people love it. I prefer them to act as another layer, another instrument in the bigger picture. Pulled them back a little and currently trying to make them float inside the song rather than stomp all over it. (I know some of you will hate this but it's how I wanted it lol) 3. Various other little tweaks & fixes, such as louder choir segments, lots of tape warmth, slightly altered drum patterns in small places, more low end note definition in the sci-fi outro segment & better backing vocal panning & EQ
This man is so talented that he managed to make a theme for the entire planet. God DAMB!
Gavin, you've just hugged the whole world itself and humanity together. I've got no proper words to express this feeling. Thank you.
At first I was like: "This isn't a game song!!!!" But then I realised that life is technically a game. A very pay to win game.
Fucking awesome!!!! Sounds so rich and deep. A stunning reworking.
This. This song right here. That's true art. Thank you, Gavin.
Greatest. Song. Ever. It's calm and it's rousing at the same time, it has a deep sense of sadness to it, and yet that unsmotherable hope that i think is so characteristic to our species. I can't really describe it, it tugs, at me, somehow, i am not capable enough with letters to express this. The song inspires. Helps. Thank you.
12 minutes? YOUR SPOILING US GAVIN!
This song is amazing, from a musical standpoint, the way it is broken into multiple segments (as are most of your songs) but, I have always enjoyed how they transition. I always think about the rest of the song when I am listening to the end and I notice the plot. All of your songs tell a story. You are a great musician because each song is a journey. This one was no different.
The whole song is great, but combined with the visuals the final part where Earth is screaming at humanity to change course before it's too late is spine-tingling.
Earth day has never been more badass
GOSH, THAT'S AMAZING I saw the notification and I literally cried
This song goes way to hard. I want this played at my funeral.❤
I just keep coming back to this song, even 5 years later. It is still probably one of my favourite songs!
Gav, thanks for existing. You make my life better.
