Epic. The surf scene was filmed at 15th st in Del Mar. My old roommate Mark Weber was the surf double for the curly haired guy at the end and Johnny O was the double for Pat Harrington of 1 day at a time. We called him Schneider for years after. The other 2 who paddled out after were Rick Lasch and someone else I can’t remember. They were all paid in free food that day.
