I've read both your books - and it got me started on my journey of being my own boss. I've just quit my job and have landed my first client designing a lodge in the African Safari. Thank you - your efforts are immensely appreciated.
Referrals were how I got started. And as you said, you have to earn the referral. The person who referred me thought I was a disciplined student and referred me to a client on a budget. And the rest is history as they say. Nice vid!
Excellent video from a former Algerian Architect who switched to IT for the same reason you explained in your video.
I am an young architect and i started my own practice a few months ago.......i´ve been a fan of all your videos for a few years now and all the content you create is SO helpfull to me and my growth as an architect. I really appreciate the work you put on this videos and all your plataforms. Thanks men!
As a retired Industrial Designer having to go back to work, I find your series (from a design standpoint) very helpful in today’s e-age. Thank you.
While watching your video my old client called and cleared his payment to which I had forgot 😀 your channel is lucky to me 🎉
Not even an architect, but found this video to contain some incredible value! Thank you sir
You have the best channel for students and designers in general! Thank you for sharing your knowledge I wish more people were open to doing so
I just got out of high school and I wasn't really sure if wanted to be an architect. I discovered your channel this week and it was so enlighting. Now I understand better what's an architect job like and that's exactly how I picture myself in a couple of years. Thanks so much !!!! Love ur videos dude.
As an upcoming architect I find your videos very inspirational, and I can’t thank you enough for being open about your work and experience!
I purchased your Architect + Entrepreneur 2 weeks ago and it has changed tremendously the way I build my architecture business. Thank you for sharing so much knowledge. I vote we make you the architect of the decade.
As a student that aspires to be an architect, I take so much inspiration from you're videos. Each and every one of your videos, show me lots and lots of various skills that I can practise and develop into the future. Eric, thanks so much for all the inspiration and help throughout the last couple of years. Jason :)
I also keep a folder of all the projects I said no to! I think its a really great way, no matter how long you've been running your business, we can feel insecure at times and a little reminder to calm down in that moment is all you need to reassure yourself that "it's going to be ok!" (Of course, if you're doing the work to market yourself and not just hoping for clients to land in your lap!) Love your videos!
I'm not an architect but I always find value in your videos.
I have nothing to do with Architecture, but the advice you share and the energy you offer to freelancers is priceless. Thank you
Right now on my to do list is watch all your videos and repeat. Somehow I instantly connect when you start speaking and do not miss a single word. Love your work.
I know this is an old video, but WOW! I'm not an architect, but deep diving into the industry as a digital design, so I can position myself expertly to help them from a design, branding and marketing perspective. Thank you so much for the video.
All his high-quality information is very generous—such a wonderful human being.
This video is one of the best from "30x40 Design Studio" for people looking to improve their businesses. I will be very happy if I can get to the next step this year with some of the points you highlighted Eric. Following your channel helped me to focus on important issues to get back to work and your enthusiasms lifts me through rocky periods. Unfortunately, I am not sure where am I heading to (this is one thing to figure out this year) and I am proceeding slowly and with difficulty to find enough time, but as much as I feel frustrated sometimes having to look after my children (being trapped in the housewife role), now I realise that they can be another source of creativity, a new windows to the world. There is opportunity everywhere with the right approach. Thanks! x
