I went to college 74 to 78. So, a lot of these tracks have significant and wonderful importance to me. Every summer, there was that one song that defined a season. Hues Corporation, Donna Summer, Diana Ross. Who doesn’t remember being young, dancing for hours, and watching your date strip off his sweat-laden shirt right on the dance floor? For a sheltered kid from the suburbs it was a revelation. The DJ absolutely owned that room carefully bringing wave after wave of acoustic energy that was frickin’ irresistible. I do remember every dude was wearing way too much cologne. RIP Pierre Cardin. 😏
