Arven’s story was the first one I completed. I wanted to help his puppy as soon as possible. And after completing the main story, I really wanted to give Arven a really big hug. He deserves one.

When I first got Pokemon Violet I wanted to find my favorite pokemon Baxcalibur, so after being set free to explore, I went straight to where Frigibax spawns and after searching for a while, I not only found a Frigibax for my pokedex but I found a shiny Frigibax as well and it has since then been a permanent part of my team. It took me a solid 10 hours of hunting to find it considering the fact that shiny encounter sandwichs and the shiny charm were not accessible at that point in the game

It might not be an offensive powerhouse but Clodsire was the keystone of so many battles for me. I mean it's bulky; has three weaknesses, four resistances, and two immunities with Water Absorb; is generally immune to poisoning and Sandstorm; and most importantly it's shaped like a friend

After watching Mikey's 12-part playthrough and being reminded during this video of Plummet's initial disobedience, I realise something: Plummet is basically Ash's Charizard - a powerful flying type that, despite having obedience issues, eventually starts listening to his trainer and goes on to be an MVP.

I am convinced wild slakoth is also a myth. Has to be the rarest Pokemon in the whole game. I also spent significant time hunting for one and ended up just breeding for it
