I admire this attorney for using her opportunity to represent these offenders to educate them about CIVICS, MISINFORMATION, DISINFORMATION, PROPAGANDA, and the fact that they are not the only ones who are disadvantaged!!! This is the kind of enlightening social work that is so incredibly vital to begin to turn this ship around. After watching Jan. 6th in real time, I have a hard time imagining that ANY of them were actually upset or duped into participating in a violent riot. But EDUCATING these people and encouraging them to THINK FOR THEMSELVES is a fundamentally constructive way to handle this.

Heather is a combination of social worker, teacher and attorney. All three roles are very tough. I worked in a woman’s prison as a clinical psychologist for 2 years. I found similar backgrounds with my clients. If only our criminal justice system took some time to try and rehabilitate these folks, teach them skills so they can gain employment when they are released, our society would greatly benefit. Some people cannot be redeemed but some can.
