My granddaughter just asked me if I had any ideas on how she can make a herb garden. I have the wooden box and was trying to think of ways we could separate each plant. I can’t wait to try this 😊 I have plenty of mugs I do not use 🎉

I've had a lot of success with this method on various ceramic and terracotta containers. Just go slow and steady, with light to medium pressure on the nail, and the hole will pop through easily

I love this idea….I am definitely headed to the thrift store to see what tea cups I find for my kitchen windowsill. I find it so boring and empty but did not want just anything….this is the perfect project! Thanks so much for the idea!

A tiny mortar drill bit is also a good option. It also works to drill your clay pots to wire and repair them.
