It should be pointed out that Norse mythology includes dwarves as an independent and separate entity from the gnomes. Though they do share many of the same traits.

I have seen and communicated with a sylph on my property. I was making it aware of a dump buying land down my road, and I suddenly got a strong feeling of sadness to the point of nearly crying. Hopefully, it informs other elementals of this, and they try stopping the dump.

There is nothing "mythological" about the elementals. They exist. I've even seen one: a salamander (Fire elemental) It was looking at me out of a candle flame. My husband, an alchemist, told me it was there and to go look at it.

i saw four gnomes....exactly as you would expect, but no colour.....sort of not quite there. But I saw them.

I wonder is that why Yuno has Sylph from Black Clover and why Aang from Avatar is a Airbender do to the traits of Sylphs? Also imagine if character from Jujutsu Kaisen had a Curse Technique that allowed them to Summon these specific Element Spirits.

Every culture sees the elements differently. Hell, Chinese traditional medicine talks about 5 elements. Ayurvedic philosophy in India only has 3 elements.
