@garypuckettmuse

I love this man. The military produces such clear thinking people. It's no wonder he was a speechwriter for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

@johncoleman3953

Four decades of service rejected by a draft dodger. Outrageous

@sheeralim8020

True warriors do not seek out violence. True warriors understand the abject tragedy of war and the finality of death.

@user-jz9jw3xf3q

Thank you, Commander, for clearly laying out the impact of these actions.

@elizabethholliday8636

THIS GUY IS SO ELOQUENT AND SO BRIGHT! HAVE HIM AGAIN!❤

@ifiokakpan2034

His being fired is an insult to a man who devoted his entire life to the service of his country.

@johnglover3682

This plot could not even have been dreamed up for the villain of a James Bond movie.

@marymcfarlane4098

Such talent was replaced with mediocrity. Very sad.

@coolmancam1032

Salute to that brother for keeping it real and telling the truth.

@anonemaus159

During Desert Storm, it was noted that about 3/4 of Army NCO's were black. One journalist commented that , for high school educated black man, the military provided better opportunity than the civilian work opportunities available.

I beleive that today, the same applies for high school educated black women. I generally find them consistently competent.

@johnvliet523

I spent some childhood years living on Ft Bragg toward the end of the Vietnam war. My family moved there from an isolated small town in New England. I loved having friends from around the States and even other countries. Black, white, Hispanic or Asian, we were just kids and all that mattered was being on the playground and exploring the woods together. My best friend was from Panama, I still remember the exotic smell of his mother‘s cooking. It was the best time of my childhood. The school production of The Emperor’s New Clothes was unforgettable. Its message is more pertinent to me now than ever. I know exactly why our teachers chose that play—I see it playing out in the real world in front of us. It’s fifty years later—I hope today’s military does as well.

@zanewakeup

It's to protect Trump, not the people. He is forming a citadel around himself, for himself.

@DanacyclingThailand

Great work. Spot on. And I’m a 70 year old white man who attended a southern military academy. Trump is destroying everything.

@bunnymad5049

This is brilliant. I'm a Kiwi, but my impression of Hegseth is that he is a frat boy. Getting rid of qualified people is insane. Feeling for everyone in the States right now.

@DaleLefflerCLC

It's time for these dismissed good folks to run for office.

@rickicoughlan

This is a very dangerous moment.

@Chr1s-fm6bi

This was excellent reporting and rare to see. She asked great questions to a person who has verifiable expertise, let them speak, and followed up. Unfortunately it will never be seen by the people who need to.

@debrajohnson8030

This guy is absolutley correct!

@richardgrumbine4867

People seem to have forgotten that diversity is one of AMERICA'S strengths...

@Mickvalentin

Boom! Thank you! I Served 24 years and didn't care for politicians or politics. I served to support the CONSTITUTION and follow legal orders. Our country is going to shit because we have such a low population of people who served.
