@bigben5246

Been out driving mine today, it's coming to the grave with me - I'm thinking some kind of Viking send off, strap me in my S2000 and set fire to it (I've got a while to go yet so no offers to buy please ;) )

@MrRoyck10

I am a fan of the S 2000, when I test drove one in 2007 i was disappointed by the low torque figures, it is a car that strives on revs, it still remains an engineering marvel for a NA engine. I ended up buying a BMW Z4 roadster 3.0 straight six. Fast forward to 2020, I still a BMW 3.0 Si coupe and when I meet up with my friends with S2000 it's pure mutual respect and admiration of the era that produced these beautiful gem. I salute Honda for the S2000 and the reliability of the Honda VTEC is pure craftsmanship.

This is only s2000 review I have ever seen that went deep into the heart of the design, mechanics, and Honda’s mindset at the time. Along with the NSX, the s2000 is the pinnacle of Honda’s automotive expression and spirit. Thank you Uehara-san!

Correction about the US Spec F20C engine. Max Power- 240hp@8300 rpm. Compression Ratio: 11.1. Not 11.5 as I mentioned. The JDM spec compression ratio is 11.7. With Japanese 100RON high octane fuel, gives it 250PS@8300rpm.
Another correction : 33:00. It’s the other way around. I pointed to the exhaust can sprocket first then intake. On this engine the exhaust is on the left side

@rkd350z

s2k is THE car that gets compared to when something is good on other cars. The steering, the shift, ergo, everything is just right with this car. Engine is one of the best NA engine produced ever, just gotta ring it.

@basithph8958

The S2000 is still one of the best sports cars ever made and it still looks so damn good to this day
This is a special car by Honda a rare moment

@kennyphun1946

S2000 will never be outdated, still fresh good looking jdm, this is a classic

@gladyus3731

Production quality of JDM Master's videos are excellent.

@basithph8958

The S2000 is simply a special car something that may not return

@darth420vader

Great Video! There is a rattle in the first 15 minutes during the drive. Its a high pitch rattle, kind of like coins. If you have ever heard this in an s2000 its coming from the spring connected to the clutch peddle. This generally happens when lifting off the throttle and RPMs drop in the 2000-4500 range, and the car is allowed to coast. The engine produces a specific vibration at that RPM range when there is no throttle input that causes the sound. Easiest way to diagnose this, when you hear the sound, lightly apply pressure to the clutch peddle (not trying to engage the clutch). If the sound goes away then its the spring.

90's JDM cars are immortal

@zalopo

Its 12:12am in houston texas... this video made me come down to the garage... open the door and took the car for a spin... such a great content and image quality

@st0atmaster

Just had my '99 JDM repainted as a 20th birthday present. She's a keeper!

@Samurai6936

I've owned my s2000 for 14 years and I learned a few things from watching this video. Awesome review!

@SilverScarletSpider

It is really cool to see how the Honda S2000 stacked up against the Porsche Boxster. Two very different car companies that both created beautiful sports cars and their versions of "British Roadsters"

@jdmspiritturkey

It's about a 1-hour long video but I didn't get bored. It's a great achievement.

@highway9patrol

I really liked the idea of that is showing outline's time.

@rendroidz4680

This is the reason why i will never sell my 2003 s2k 😊

@chrisharris6462
