Every rival Texas plays will have 2 weeks to prep as they have cupcakes or a bye scheduled the week before. Look at the teams Ark, OU, A&M play before Texas . That’s a bit concerning…

Well i never said this before but Jeff Lebby has no chance to go to a bowlgame. 80% of all SEC Teams would miss a bowl with that schedule in the past 2 years. Take Tennessee or MIZ for example, does anyone believe that they survive Texas, Georgia, Arizona State, Alabama (I putt them in coz we play TN) and Ole Miss at home and Florida, Aggies, Arkansas and Mizzou on the road ? And last year we had 4 playoff teams on the road and Ole Miss who was borderline playoffs. Tell me Cousin Mike that the Vols making the playoffs with that schedule. Its more likely they go 5-7 or winning 10 games.

Please, no 9 SEC games. There is more of a chance the top teams cannibalize themselves and take a loss when non-SEC teams are getting an easy 'W' playing a weak non-conference team. ONLY if they guarantee 4 CFP spots, and I wouldn't like it then. As a Georgia fan, it would help because UGA is a top team. Due to the law of averages, the top-heavy teams would likely play a less-than-average team, hurting the little guys. And if the SEC game agrees, it should only be at twice whatever ESPN offers.
