When I quit cigarettes, I'd buy myself flowers every week rather than the cigarettes. Its the little things!

1. Adjust yourself to other people's state of mind & difficulties.
2. Condition your mind at the beginning of each day - you will keep it positive under all circumstances.

4. Have a good-hearted laugh every time you become irritated or angry.

Started Napoleon Hill at 25 yo. Wasn't sure it would work. 40 years later I have arrived at a result: Yes it works, in a big way. Have achieved all that I wanted and more. Bringing this with me to the 40 years ahead.

@ReynaSingh

Our lives are steered by the direction of our thoughts, positivity is a seed that can grow into inifinite possibilities

@sarah.222

heavyy on the gratitude!! even just listing a few things you're grateful for each morning wires your brain to seek out the positives in your life. if i'm ever feeling low or facing some kind of challenge, if i can remind myself to give gratitude for whatever the situation is teaching me i immediately feel better (or at the very least my perspective shifts!). it's such a powerful practice.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my YouTube channel 11 months ago about self development. Now I have 2,048 subs and > 2k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

@jaylenwilder6147

I was given this book recommendation 2 years ago when I was 19 and it changed my life. Shout out Mike

@OspreyFlyer

Ah yes, Napoleon Hill. I discovered him in the 80s through an older friend (RIP) who had been the top salesman in a life insurance company and became my best friend and mentor. When I met my friend he had started a successful homebuilding company which was his dream and passion. He had studied what he called PMA, positive mental attitude. He had a rather lengthy spiel of PMA sayings accumulated from several writers and speakers he would repeat. I then wrote down my goals, dreams, hopes and began repeating them on my way to work each morning. My list expanded, refined, and changed over time. I kept reading and repeating and also praying to connect to the spiritual. Over the years all my core dreams came true. It was the focus, persistence, and discipline that ultimately worked. And one other thing, learning especially from my mentor, was to get along with people and assisting them with reaching their goals. He was a master of that. From Napoleon Hill I learned persistence especially. As another friend and important mentor said, "If you're going to pray for potatoes you better have a hoe in your hand".

@spartanstu8495

I was introduced to Napoleon Hill's book "Think and grow rich" from a network marketing debacle. I left that behind, but the knowledge in that book resonated with me ever since. So much so that I have bought the book 3 times and given it away to individuals I thought it could help twice. PMA is most definitely one of the self's biggest treasures.

@kengrow3992

I must get back to watching after skool videos daily, so inspiring and with competent plans to improve. Thank you.

@winstonsmith9740

I can't believe you have loaded this just now. I have been listening to Napoleon Hill and friend Earl Nightingale over the few weeks and Hey Presto thus pop's up. The 20 steps are amazing but also so so common sense. Love it.

@emperorlelouch5696

Wow. I can't even begin to explain how important these things are and how as of late I've been getting intertwined with the art of getting things done and being more willing to do what I have to do instead of what I want to do. Thank you for this video I think it's going to help a lot.

@TravelTrekVacations

@armorbearer9702

(1:46) A good laugh sounds like a great way to wake yourself up in the morning.

@apnhderlleip

There are 3 aspects in anyone's life that are the eternal wisdom of the ages: mind, emotions and actions.
If one thinks positively and adds good emotions and actions the result will almost inevitably be positive.
That's how one lives a happy life! ♥

@KHX274

I really love this channel. Thank you for what you do.

It is so helpful to hear the ideas you share while seeing them written on the screen simultaneously. Much more impactful than hearing the words while watching unrelated video footage, as many idea-oriented videos do.

Again, thank you.

@CreamyGoodness1994

It's such a relief to hear his voice for the first time yet feels familiar when you read his book twice 🙌

@Dziad_Gada
