@miracleofsound

Finally, a Diablo-inspired song! This one's structure & pacing is a little more progressive & weird than my other recent work, so it may take a few listens to properly vibe with the off-kilter way it ebbs & flows.
Enjoy and don't to forget to like, share, comment & all the other things that the algorithm demon demands of me. \m/
Big luv. Gav

@FunnyYourLiver

It's still beyond my understanding how someone can consistently do something so beautiful and at the same time always diverse and unique. Gav is truly a gem!

@dragonllig790

“In the light of the fallen angel”
“In the shade of the maker banefull”
Damn that’s an awesome line

@Peagaporto

For people who never played Diablo

Only lore you need to know to better apreciate this music is this.

Angels and Demons split from the same entity eons ago, eventually forming Heaven and Hell, they have been at war ever since. Then an Angel called Inarius and a Demon called Lilith got tired of the conflict and created a world called Sanctuary where they and like minded angels and demons could hide. The angels and demons eventually had children with each other called Nephilim, which were more powerful than either. Heaven and Hell both found out and made a deal to put a limiter on the world to diminish the power of the Nephilim over time, so they got weaker and weaker until they became Humanity. Both sides fear Humanity may turn the scales on the conflict.

So mankind was born between the love between Order and Chaos, Good and Evil.
"We are noble and we are craven, we are beautiful and we are vile."

The events of Diablo 4 mark the return of both Inarius and Lilith, so the whole conflict basically revolves about who's getting custody of the kids.

@DexterMilan

The part after "Heirs of heaven and hell entwined" has strong Cradle of Filth vibes. That scream and melody. Love it

@dragonfireband

How can you combine the style of Powerwolf and Dimmu Borgir in one song while also still being a recognizable Miracle of Sound song and nailing the Diablo vibe on top of that?

Gav, you fucking genius. You outdid yourself, and I've been a fan for over 11 years 😄

@AudioFrank

Never a boring project when mixing for MOS. This one was next level for sure.

@musikhibrida785

Wow... I've never seen Gavin make music with such a distinct and aggressive style. A very thrilling opening. Like Powewolf and Sabaton, this is a masterpiece and I really like it.

@TheCharismaticVoice

This is so awesome!!!! Love the way it pumps me up to pulverize things with my Werebear Druid even more.

@Elizabeth-Jade

Diablo IV is an epic tale of the universe's bloodiest custody battle.

@sarenme1

It's a testament to your skill that I can still get chills listening even though I've never been interested in Diablo games. Your way with lyrics tying into the themes and elevating them are what has kept me a fan for years. This one in particular makes me wonder what a Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous song from you would sound like.

@TalionWolfe

Never touched any diablo but when you hinted this was your next song I was insanely excited you always deliver and if there's one person I want to hear make a song that conspires against demons and angels stories it's the miracle himself. Big luv to you too Gav I'm looking forward to listening to this many times to pick up everything you're trying to throw down at us! 💜

@shawnhardy-lester8496

No wonder we haven't seen anything from you in a while. It must have taken crazy amount of work to make this master piece

@jairzeuske9885

I absolutely LOVE the infusion of iconic instruments from the source materials in these songs. I'm not a musician so I may get some lingo wrong, but with the acoustics in the beginning of this which evoke the original Tristram theme, or with the guitar riff in "The Moment" mimicking the original Wonder Woman theme, or especially with the entire instrumentation of the Witcher songs, the use of media specific instruments alongside the signature "gavrock" creates this perfect blend of familiarity of style with individuality for each song. It's the thing I love about these (other than the banger vocals and lyricism), that each song retains the strengths of all the others while providing something unique with each new inspiration. Absolute bangers, absolute art.

@FrankenSteinsGate

There are so many different vocal styles on display here, it is so impressive! I don't think I've heard you do whistle screams before! Plus the song as a whole is fucking incredible. Absolutely fantastic work here man.

@pavelsh6932

Part starting on 3:00 with this "Return..." have most epic effect for me. Incredible!

@bthsr7113

"Even if heaven and hell collide tonight"
First thing that popped into my head with the title.

@glennboyce7753

Well done. It is rare that I get goosebumps on hearing a song yet you have done exactly that. Love your creations.

@MuraCasardis

Words can never describe how happy I am to keep supporting you on Patreon for all these years. The music you keep pumping out are always bangers!
