@andreaperazzolo7095

The title should have been "In US, civilians are better armed than the army"

@Neoentrophy

Its not surprising really, when you buy a gun for yourself, you only consider things like cost and efficacy.
When you need 100k guns, you need to consider logistics, manufacturing time, supply, maintenance, parts availability and a whole bunch of other factors on top of civilian concerns.
It would be nice if everyone soldier could have their ideal weaponry, but sufficient weaponry thats easy to aquire, use and maintain by a wide range of skill levels is more suitable for war

@zednott

a civilian cares about what they are using. the USA gov gives the contract to the lowest bidder.

@generalzoom693

to be honest only special forces operators are given the best of the best of weapons while regular service members are basically given the left overs

@tylermattern9379

Yes bc I know atleast 5 people who own a hellfire missle

@LuvLacksViolance

Grandfather told me a story about how he loved his older m1s by telling a 9 year old me about how he watched a carbine explode twice on the same guy the second gun took his hand, apparently these where the rifles they where pumping into Vietnam

@Harry_Ballzonya

Just like that time the gov gave the cartels and the taliban “military grade” weapons 😂

@AbaddonOfTheKey

Civilians in the US are supposed to be AS armed as the military. We may not have high explosives and jets, but our state guards do, so in the event we had to go to war with a tyrannical federal government, we would be remotely as equipped as they are. That being said, civilians are not actually as equipped as the military. The army's new rifle has such high chamber pressure that it zips straight through armor, and we aren't allowed to buy it, just like we're not allowed to buy black tip or green tip ammo, which defeats armor. BTW those m855 green tip 5.56 bullets you've been buying, read the box. They're simply high velocity, not actually steel core. You have to be in the military to get those. This video is angled improperly. Even though we should be as armed as the military, we are not. They have the best gear, guns, vehicles, thermals, and night vision on the market for military purposes. We barely stand a chance against them in a straightforward battle.

@MisterTengu

Even if you have the money, you as a normal citizen can't buy anything full auto made after 1986.

@MoltenHoniBun

Report these bots please, don't give them likes they are not real people

@baronvonbear8285

Military grade just means “made my the cheapest bidder”

@glfagle-grindle7754

The military is like " who can make this work for the least money"

@jfhucka1

Firearms produced after the 50s don’t come back to civilians as surplus

@torengallagher8368

its actually been this way for a very long time cost effectivness is also considered along side things like quality if you commission anything military or not. the quality is just going to be better however you might have the best cannopn in the world but nations have 100s of them that do pretty much the same job

@modernwarfare2hobo

Anyone else notice the GTA Ammu nation set up?

@wiikends

saying American civilians have more weapons without saying it

@jessa1895

I mean if you think of it this way it makes more sense. A firearms company has to make something quality or its customers look elsewhere but a government needs quantity over quality so all of its troops can have a gun.

@wickedcomet9340

Only in America. Maybe Mexico too..

@Osky236

I firmly believe that DURING CONFLICTS, soldiers should be legally allowed to purchase their own gear if they please. However, with STRICT regulations. Just because they understand what they need, and they can replace equipment with better counterparts. Things like weapon accessories, armor plating for when soldiers use JPC's or other Plate Carriers and things like backpacks or helmets.

@andrew1898

It's not that were better armed; its we outnumber every single military on the planet combined when hunting season opens.
