Seriously this has been a great investment already - 4 days and I’m hooked. My wife watches her Greys Anatomy and I’m trying to save the world as Cloud right next to her.

I dont understand why people are hating on this device. I bought one a month ago and I mostly only gaming on it instead of using my 75 inch 4k. Yes I am a father of a 1 year old and yes it helps when she is watching her kids show while in playing. But thats not why i like it. I like it because I can lie down while playing my game. I like it cus it feels better holding it than the PS Vita and the Steamdeck.

PSA: I'm dropping a GAME CHANGING TIP i came across recently. If your PS Portal seems to freezeframe/pixelates even when your internet works perfectly. Go on your network name on PS5, press options to bring up advanced settings. Then change your MTU from the default 1500 to 1473. This was the last thing keeping from that flawless experience... 😉👍

I just got two delivered yesterday. One for me and one for my son. Our bdays are a day apart. At first I didn’t think i needed one, partly because of all the shit talk going around when it first came out. But then i realized i was barely using my ps5 because my daughter and grand kids moved in and the living room tv is always being used. The past year I've been mostly using my switch. This is only day 2 but this thing is great! I almost got the backbone but didn’t want to tie up my phone. Im so glad I waited and got the portal. The screen is beautiful and its so easy to start up and use.

Just got mine yesterday, had a couple eh hours on it playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, had one or two wee stutters while moving the camera, but somebody had said to me it’s because my PS5 isn’t hardwired, gonna do that on my next day off and see how it goes. I never knew we couldn’t stream the Streaming Ps+ Games, hopefully that becomes a thing in the future as that would be massive! As a family man I’m calling this the “Dadstation” 😂 got a case and screen protector coming tomorrow, looking forward to many many hours on this, since I’m a massive handheld fan, love my oled switch and still have a vita that I play, and looking at a steam deck next 😂

Dropped mine yesterday. Left stick drift. Already mailed it off and it get there tomorrow. Should be back in a week. Luckily for me, I bought two 😊so I’m not missing out

For hotels if you call the tech support number and give them the MAC address they’ll hook it up for you! Only takes a few minutes.

I just bought one and now exclusively play my PS5 via this device. I wasn’t really using my console and tend to play PC only. With this device I play my PS5 in bed…Astro ran incredible and it was super awesome to complete a few levels each night while my wife watched TV in bed. I feel my PS5 wasn’t a waste of money anymore haha

i have 300 megs, as soon as i connected to wifi 5g on both consoles. everything started working perfect. even on high performance
