I've been there. Absolutely beautiful. I found a woman in a nearby town who took me on a boat tour of the lagoon and the jungle inlets. We saw wild orchids and a tapir. A truly memorable experience.
The town looks very cute, the water, beautiful! Hot and humid is not my thing, but I appreciate seeing different places in Mexico, thanks Mariana!
I've been going here since the early 90s when there really wasn't anything here. You forgot to mention that Belize is only about an hour drive to the border. I suggest taking a day trip to Corozal, Belize. And I really like Chetumal..
I love this town, especially paddling a kayak to the Pirate Beach.
Good town to put in a Slow Travel agenda .
This was a great and most thorough video! Thank you so much , I’m going to shorten my Tulum trip to include Bacalar ❤
Nice video! Thanks for mentioning plant based foods. While we don’t really go to doctors we look for chiropractors, acupuncture and homeopathic remedies. Still visiting Mexico often in hopes of finding where we want to land. Thanks
If you live or visit there, be prepared to sweat 24/7.😂😂😂
Nice video! Thanks!
Watching from Virginia USA great video! Gracias❤️
Hola Maria, Another great video from you, this one regarding the Bacalar area of Mexico. As you may remember, I have been looking to retire/move to Mexico for quite some time and I’ve been looking mostly on the Pacific coast, focusing on Puerto Escondido, which I visited once and found pretty nice for me . Could you comment on how you would compare the two or do you think there’s any comparison between the two? Gracias Esteban 🤙🏻😎
How is the snorkaling? How are the roads to Cancun If I moved there and need to buy furnishibgs were would be the nearest larger shopping area. Are there protected areas suitable for a walk/ hike? Are there lots available for building/ price range?
