I’m 64, and have been a Journey fan since I was 18 in 1977, a few months before Steve Perry joined the band. They are my favorite band ever, and Steve Perry’s voice is unmatchable. I have never heard justice done to Steve’s unique sound until last night on American Idol (Megan Danielle sang Faithfully with Steve Perry’s gravel and perfect pitch), and today, you have matched the perfect pitch, tone, and beauty of his voice. Plus, the instruments were perfect, Neal Schon’s riffs, Ross Valory’s bottom, Steve Smith’s beats, and Jonathon’s keys. I’ve waited for this since Steve left the band. Thank you😊
