So glad to see this video. Have always thought he's a vastly underrated player and that Firebird is so iconic.

@harrypsihoyos

Listen everyone, this man is one of best guitarists ever! His work (both solo and with Roxy) is marvellous!!!

@quentincrisp6933

Been a Roxy fan for over 40 years & never have heard Phil speak at length. What a wonderful gentleman who is a wonderful guitarist‼💜 I'm wondering where & what the 16 y.o. who sold Phil the Firebird is doing today.🤔

@halloweenjack2562

What a facinating and modest guy. Great interview / discussion and such a pleasure to be shown all those beautiful guitars and to hear the stories behind them!

@rodrigobortoloti2830

Que entrevista sensacional. Para ficar na história. Parabéns. Abraços do Brasil.

@TheMoodyLoners

So glad Phil explained the origin of the crazy sounds he got on Amazona - my favorite from that album.

@janattaaya

His signature licks are so simple but sooo effective at the same time! Amazing musician.

@moose6676

What a wonderful guy Phil is. Thanks for a great interview 🙏🏻 love his playing over the years, extremely talented guy.

@solomonwaigani4512

Wonderful. Thank you Phil and Guitarist.

@zororosario

Phil is one of my favorites for guitar, thanks for all the memories your music has brought back ❤Cheers Thanks

@mistermatix8241

Still remember when Phil "became" the alternative version of Lister in Red Dwarf, episode "Psirens"......my god he played the guitar with his arms through Craig Charles' underarms, without SEEING the guitar, and shredded like you wouldn't believe! Phil is a guitar god!

@steliosposeidon6871

Great interview! Always loved Roxy Music and Phil’s tasteful guitar playing. He also goes pretty wild on ‘Gun’ on John Cale’s 1974 ‘Fear’ album!

@crilf5830

Fantastic interview!  Thanks ❤🎉

@steveaustin6467

really top and genuine guy....:body-blue-raised-arms:

@jaguarsunburst1570

Great Video, Thankyou.🎸

@davidsobel3303

I had that 801 Live album. Very cool. He's such an underrated guitarist in my opinion.

@sweetntenderhooligans1649

OMFG finally! Such an unsung hero!

@fernandoperdomomusic

Im so glad he pulled out the non reverse .. I loved seeing it on the back cover of the Roxy Live album..

@Gylfi465

Love the Firebird guitars.

@KirillKronrod

Great interview! Phil is an amazing musician! The Gibson non-reverse Firebird (and I don't want to be a "Captain obvious" here) had a vibrato before someone modified it with hard-stop. 3 holes (filled quite nicely) are still visible around 51:51.
