Thank you for adding the Synik 26 to your reviews. I did go ahead and purchase one, partly based on your review and on trying on some alternative bags at REI and Patagonia stores. What works for me is the maximum amount of inside space that I can custom organize with cubes and pouches with the torso length that works with my 5'1" (lack of) heights. I also appreciate some of the things that bother other folks such as: the center zipper pouch for water bottle storage and the tougher zippers. Both work well for me as a solo woman traveler who wants extra security for water and pickpockets/theft in crowded spaces. Since I plan on using this backpack as an extension to a 21" suitcase I like that clothing and kit items fit in it well. I don't travel with a lap top but with a small tablet.

The cord pulls need to be woven through the zipper pulls. Cord loop end through the bottom hole on the zipper pull. Then cord loop end through the top on the zipper pull. Lastly plastic end of cord loop through the other end of the cord loop sticking out of the end of the zipper pull, tighten. Boom, bang your done and zips are much less noisy. I expect the 'pros' at pack hacker to present tips like this.

@welshrecon

You didn't put the zipper pulls on properly to dampen the sound of the zippers - they need to go through both holes of the zip - it makes a big differenceto the noise then.

@feenixfiya

I have a smaller synapse in black X-pac. Love the slick feel and don’t mind the crunchiness.

@kristen7584

I love my synik, and everything about how it's laid out. I traded in my brain bag to get the synik 30 and have beat it up a lot, it's fantastic! I just wish the laptop compartment was bigger.

@fumeokid

I have the same bag in the same color and it has a stain that I can't remove as well. I tried spot washing it and it still remains. I think a darker color would be better as you stated.

@canines

You guys should do a 2024 recap where you do the best bags/gear in order of best and worst

@bradyroberson4910

Saw the thumb nail and thought this had a lot of potential, but there are some odd choices going into this design. The search for the perfect bag continues!

@TSS0Qk3n

Could you please review the Sandmarc Travel backpack?

@plumbumpoisoning

Thanks for the review! Would you prefer this or the Bellroy Lite Travel Pack 30L?

@aquafabaaa

What's the dark orange pack on the right-hand side of the top row on the wall?

@daoanson

Can you do a video review of the Mous Day Backpack on Pack Hacker Reviews or for one of your new videos on the main Pack Hacker channel?

@PotatoSpudRucking

looks like a smiley face 😤

@Flight2282

Is Tom Bihn a Picasso for bad nerds? I love the company, concept….
That is a sad banana

@craigo2142

No strap keepers at this price is insane. It sounds as if you would rather not carry this bag. Lots of little bothersome things add up to not liking a bag and regret getting it.

@Lenduya

They seem functional. But they are so heavy and SO expensive. The Osprey Daylite 26+6 does most of what this does at almost half the weight and for fraction of the price.

@commonwunder

Three hundreds dollars ...and no outside water bottle pocket?
