I’m a new subscriber simply because you are honest and not trying to make points every one else makes and don’t sound like a parrot. We need more honest critics with their own opinions like you.

No agenda no bs just straight honest opinion.

@vengeanceconscious9774

They were testing out this new technology to make the villains and action sets instead of focusing on the practical aspects that made the originals and afterlife so good.

@vengeanceconscious9774

And it’s a shame that they underused bill murray who seemed excited for the first time in years after feeling like he could care less , only to waste it here.

@vengeanceconscious9774

It is sad that bill murray has returned and has overstepped his own personal battles and actual seems to enjoy working again , only for them to waste it for this mess.

I wish him all the best.

Honestly was excited for this because afterlife was so good , unfortunately this movie was awful, it was underwhelming and had comedy mainly from Paul Rudd and his co star who plays Mrs Spangler , but the beginning had embarrassing special effects and slimer was definitely heavily advertised and was just a cheap gimmick cash grab of a cameo , the older cast back were great as always , it’s unfortunate that they made mckenna grace’s character a joke.

And the ending felt rushed , they built up this big bad ghost and then just like what felt like 3 minutes the villain is gone.

And yeah they have what ? 2 more after this , but this was the worst blue balls kick to the nuts I’ve ever had from a movie that doesn’t even feel like it wants a sequel itself.

@Esq.MillersburgOH

I liked the movie.

As a fan it pains me to say this but I have to be honest - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bad movie.

The film is total a mess.  It's boring, poorly paced, confusing, convoluted and overly complicated.  There are far too many characters, some of which have been needlessly shoehorned into the story.  It's overstuffed with unnecessary dialogue, dull subplots, pointless characters and scenes which go on for far too long.  It's not funny either.  I didn't laugh once during the movie, and neither did the audience I was watching it with.  Neither is it frightening.  Laughs and scares are the two things you expect from a Ghostbusters film but this latest entry in the series is completely devoid of any.

Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan may be talented directors, but they're the wrong people to be writing Ghostbusters films.  Afterlife was mediocre at best, but Frozen Empire is just plain bad.

With a heavy heart, I rate this film 3 out of 10.

I feel a lot of fans are in denial about just how bad this film is.

Your face is too close to the camera. Back off. I'm out.
