Regarding 8:53, Gold and Silver are precious metals which have been used as money in Bimetallism since ancient times. Platinum which is also a precious metal was not used as money until from 1828 to 1845 in Russian Ruble Coins. On the other hand, copper, tin and zinc which are base metals have been used in money since ancient times. Later on nickel, aluminum, steel, magnesium and manganese have been used to mint base metal coins, because of their lower cost.

Last week's mild correction is just a temporary setback, gold is still going north of $3000 and while it is debatable where silver is going to be, one thing I am pretty darn sure of is that with gold at $3K your chances of buying silver below $25 are about nil... The crowd that keeps posting about buying silver at $23 is going to be left in the dust in the exact same manner those who were waiting for gold to correct once it broke over $2000 are still waiting for their entry point and missed the following 50% rally altogether.

Added 5oz today. I found some nice collectable coins on sale. My favorite one is Frankenstein! I only found 1 for sale after searching numerous sites. I loved watching Frankenstein movies as a kid! They're were several types but not the one I liked but 1. It was a good day!

I personally did not think that anything was broken but Trump does. The tariffs, uncertainty and mass layoffs in the USA such as government workers but there will be others and it will start to have an effect on the USA economy as well as the economy in other countries. Gold and Silver are a great way to protect yourself.
