@nadjamelani28

Tax oil and gas
Stop giving our wealth away!

@Drewisyou94

We Aussies own the resources. These companies need to be forced to pay royalties. About 15 years ago, we were so close to appropriately taxing, and now we're paying for it...

@glenns001

what a load of crap, lowest Taxed countries, Australia is one of the highest taxed countries because of our government
If you earn it, they tax it

If you spend it, they tax it
If you save it, they tax it
If you invest in it, they tax it
If you build it, they tax it
If you sell it, they tax it
If you live in it, they tax it
If you drive it, they tax it
If you eat it, they tax it
If you give it away, they tax it
When you die, they tax it
Then they waste it.

@SuburbanConan

In the 1970's and 80's we used to sponsor kids overseas to get them food,clothing and housing.
Now, in the 2020's,we have to sponsor Australian kids for food and clothing and housing as 1 in 6 live in abject poverty.
How this happened in the "Lucky Country" really demands some hard questions be asked.

@leomullins

Reduce Govt. MILLION dollar salaries to deptmenatal bosses is unconscionable.

@davidwearne4176

Yep, priorities! This guy is 100% correct. The Capital markets need to take the hit that the rich have been avoiding for so long.

@susim4503

Also, stop paying subsidies to companies making $b profits.

@ruiprego8470

Government can't keep expecting small business + everyday Australians to bankroll them.. we need our natural resources like gas iron ore, and coal to pull their fair weight.

@Ravioligreen180b

How is a pensioner supposed to pay for house insurance?
Corporate needs to pay for our resources. Help hard working Australians, no matter what their age. Australians need to stand up. Oh that's right. Howard took away our right to protest

@shanemitchell5807

Tax the big corps and the rich. Fix Australia.

@whowhat9

The reality of living in the 'Trickle down' eCONomy.
Tax the billionaires, they're billionaires cos they pay less tax than the rest of us. Pay up Gina and co, you can afford it.

@MrPodge

The figures he’s mentioning are chicken feed compared to what oil and gas would be paying IF they were taxed properly like they were in Norway.

@justbee527

A country can't continue with a government that makes it to expensive to live in. When companies go unregulated on how much they charge & don't pay tax U have a bad governance

@pierreborg

Stop paying our politicians so much, since when do we get pay rises in Australia for doing a crap job. Our government is too large for such a small population and all their percks and pensions.

@GerardIrvine

How about tax the resources that we all own.

I'm a small business owner I'm taxed at every step, but these multi national conglomerates pay basically nothing.

@leewarrington974

We are not a Rich country, we have a few very rich politicians and corporate business people but the people of Australia are relatively poor for living in a country with such rich assets.

@adamashton74

Obviously the government isn't doing their jobs. Do we really need governments and if the answer is no then we have over educated people who talk from a theoretical perspective but the reality is people are truly suffering while people in goverment on all three levels aren't suffering. In the last 25 years from a federal governments perspective have to be given a fail mark.

@garyreynolds9191

We need to streamline our government, we have a huge bureaucracy only 26 million people, wake up Australia

@peteandronnie

Pensioners cannot go out and supplement their income. A 4% increase on a politician’s salary is a significant increase, but the same4% increase on a pension won’t buy a piece of fruit!

@jonfoxtrot5135

Uniparty politics and dealing will never benefit citizens. Politicians are not born economic managers. Most of them are navigating the easiest path to their career success.
