Afghanistan has a very small army with zero technology and only a ffew very outdated combat machinery. Afghanistan is very easy to invade but its geography, culture and lack of infrastructure makes it very hard to hold.

The fact is The Afghans defeated the Monghol Empire in India (Khilji Dynasty), they defeated and conquered the Safavid Capital (Hotaki empire) and alsi defeated the mughal and sackes their capital delhi (Durrani Empire). For the Islamic Conquest, Afghanistan was essentially converted through trades because the afghans fought few battles

So Afghanistan is difficult for the terrain and tribalism. Not Islam. Rather, Islam did conquer Afghanistan, and is the only entity to control Afghanistan per se.

The usa did the best...no doubt. We conquered it (for some reason) and then after 20 years we were like "ok were going home now...yall can have it back....and here's 80 billion worth of military equipment...."
