Even the theists in Tamil Nadu loves periyar. He made us all to live together though we are from different castes and religions. Here in Tamil Nadu people never use their caste name as last names. We even feel shame to talk about caste and religion in public. He made Tamil Nadu a true example for Unity in Diversity.

पेरियार ने ईश्वर को लेकर 15 सवाल उठाए थे, जो इस प्रकार हैं: - 1- क्या तुम कायर हो, जो हमेशा ही छिपे रहते हो, कभी किसी के सामने प्रकट नहीं होते? 2- क्या तुम्हें खुशामद पसंद है, जो लोगों से दिन रात पूजा-अर्चना करवाते हो? 3- क्या तुम सदेव भूखे रहते हो, जो लोगों से मिठाई, दूध, घी आदि लेते रहते हो ? 4- क्या तुम मांसाहारी हो जो लोगों से निर्बल पशुओं की बलि चढ़वाते हो? 5- क्या तुम सोने के व्यापारी हो, जो मंदिरों में लाखों टन सोना दबाए हुए हो? 6- क्या तुम व्यभिचारी हो, जो मंदिरों में देवदासियां रखते हो? 7- क्या तुम कमजोर हो, जो रोजाना होने वाले बलात्कारों को नही रोक पाते? 8- क्या तुम मूर्ख हो, जो दुनिया के देशों में गरीबी-भुखमरी होते हुए भी अरबों रुपयों का अन्न, दूध, घी, तेल बिना खाए ही नदी-नालों में बहा देते हो? 9- क्या तुम बहरे हो जो बेवजह मरते हुए आदमी, बलात्कार होती हुई मासूमों की आवाज नहीं सुन पाते? 10- क्या तुम अंधे हो, जो रोज अपराध होते हुए नहीं देख पाते? 11- क्या तुम आतंकवादियों से मिले हुए हो, जो रोज धर्म के नाम पर लाखों लोगों को मरवाते रहते हो? 12- क्या तुम आतंकवादी हो, जो ये चाहते हो कि लोग तुमसे डरकर रहें? 13- क्या तुम गूंगे हो, जो एक शब्द नहीं बोल पाते, लेकिन करोड़ों लोग तुमसे लाखों सवाल पूछते हैं? 14- क्या तुम भ्रष्टाचारी हो, जो गरीबों को कभी कुछ नहीं देते, जबकि गरीब पशुवत काम करके कमाए गए धन की पाई-पाई तुम्हारे ऊपर न्यौछावर कर देता है? 15- क्या तुम मुर्ख हो, जो हम जैसे नास्तिकों को पैदा किया जो तुम्हे खरी-खोटी सुनाते रहते हैं और तुम्हारे अस्तित्व को ही नकारते हैं?

Periyar atheist tha, reforms karna theek hai par woh ek extreme bhi chala gaya, itna ki ek juloos nikal kar ramji ka chitr par chappal marne aur marwane lagey. Aise bahut harkatein ki hain. Upar se Pakistan ka division support karne wala aur, Uttari Bhartiya logon se nafrat karne wala tha. Aise character ko ek leader sweekarna hazam nahi hota.
