This technology can’t come fast enough
This is amazing and can't get here fast enough
Humans are amazing.
This is very special and innovative

Fusion power in my lifetime.... I pray they truly have it right this time! Solving the energy crisis erases 90% of the conflicts in the world.
Fusion energy plants are here now over the next 10 years we see the birth of a new fusion energy industry that will shape the world and humankind
As someone who works on a comparable laser, those fission and fusion animations at 3:00....oh........oh my. Wow. 🥴
Even though it's cheesy to say, human's are an amazing species
The claim that fusion ignition produced more energy than it put in was extremely misleading. Fusion is hard. Harnessing fusion and converting it into usable energy is harder still. I certainly hope we can harness fusion in my lifetime, but I tend to doubt it.
I pay the bills Otto!
Hope they do a follow-up report one or two months from now, to see if and how NIF and the other company shown here are affected by the current administration's cutbacks and purges. Heck, considering the President said today he's going to build up the coal industry, may be a few additional years before we get that fusion factory.
I want the interview.. done by Filomena Cunk 😂
It was the "engine room" of the Enterprise in Star Trek: Into Darkness
The quantum piston is the key to both antigravity and energy generation for billions.
Does anyone remember the movie Chain Reaction? If we were able to control the power of the stars here on earth all energy could be generated from a non polluting source. Big oil doesn’t want this to exist but if we want to exist we must adopt this means of production of energy.
@ cbs sunday Please do a report on Light pollution. The invasive glowing glare of cheap LED is a public health problem.
I asked ChatGPT to tell me a fusion joke: How many fusion scientists does it take to change a light bulb? Just one, but they need billions of dollars in funding and 30 years to do it!
