I was at this funeral service and attended Faith Mission during the time Elder Lambert preached this powerful sermon. I recall thinking to myself, why is he preaching about his dying - because he and I have so much work yet to do together. As his traveling organist, I knew him to be a true prophet of God. He was a great man who loved people. He passed away in 1991 and I continue to miss him til this day. As we said every Sunday morning - God Bless - Elder Lambert!! Dr. A. D. Kemp

I dont know what lead me to even pull this up today....but it sure does have me emotional... this is when our whole family STAYED in church... uncle Hubert would call me out and tell me to sit down whenever i tried to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of his sermon! i sure do miss him coming over grandmas to barbque, him and Paul Thompson he would always pull out a a bunch of 1$ bills and hand them to me and pinch me on my jaw! lol He always smelled so good... looking at this service now.. i see all of my aunts in the front row, along with my grandma.. most of them are gone! it hurts cause i miss them all so much! but... thank you God for allowing me the time with them!

This reminds me of our founder, the late Pastor Lenwood Cooper Jr. I miss good olde preaching from the men of God!!! My God he was preaching!!!

I certainly remember this great Prophet of God, he came to our church which was pastored by Dr. Frank Wright Jr. and set the church on fire as usual back in the late 80's

I did not know this Sermon existed.I was at the Funeral Services as Well,I remember this message like yesterday.When he was preaching the sermon,I asked my self why Now Lord.I know there is more for me to Learn and Grow.I remember asking God Give Elder Lambert more time..I want to grow in ministry there and understand more of the word.But when He past in 1991..A sadness came that was not filled for years,but thru understanding what he Tried to Prepare us all,being Righteous.God Bless
