To see his chsracter change due to the situation his job just showed hiscamazing acting ..and for her to also go undercover just to protect him showed just how far a wife will go for her man...but the end is not what i wanted ..to say i was screaming at my phone is an understatement This is deffo 1 of the best kdramas ive seen ❤

This broke my heart:( I feel like she still loved her husband. She was so ready to sacrifice for him (as he for her) and worried for him until the end, and I think that in the end she just couldn't overcome seeing her valuable person, a lover in the past, in such a state... She just was so kind that she wanted to save him too... Every time he said about their future plans, she became upset, because she felt like she's deceiving him... So sad that this mission ruined everything.

I dont know what you guys think, but this is the best possible ending ever. Period. They have came too far to being back to their normal life. Yes, all the betrayal and everything is just too much, they could have prevent doyoung (the other police guy) from dying by making the investigation public however that's just not it. They have come too far too make it public and its too risky since its an international investigation. One step wrong, then they are done. Like the chief said at doyoung funeral, everything has its cost, sacrifice. Euijeong and junmo's relationship clearly can not be save anymore after all the shit happening during the investigation. For the wife, she dis everything for junmo's protection and safety cuz their boss just obsessed with the investigation. i didnt think she still in love with gicheul but she still care for him after all he been through since childhood. She care for him so so so much, however ofc as a husband watching his wife caring and crying all too much for another man, junmo felt horrible and that's completely change their relationship dynamic completely. In ghe process of investigation, junmo cared so much abt gicheul, they share plentiful of deep conversation. Junmo already attached to gicheul, thinking him as a friend or even brother. Junmo gives chances for gicheul run away and start new life bcs he's done with playing with gicheul's trust. However, gicheul last hope is euijeong since euijeong once said that why he didnt come find her when he runaway during their childhood. So gicheul, instead of suicide at the train railway, he thinking of euijeong and came to her house just to find out she married to junmo, another betrayal for him. At this moment, gicheul said you guys will pay for the rest of their life, so he want them to pay by guilty of him comitted suicide. However junmo doesnt want her wife to take the guilty so instead junmo in panic and before too late he shot gicheul and drop his tears. And junmo also save gicheul from commtting sin of suicide cause he was a believer. This moment, the wife run towards dying gicheul nad cry all her heart out cause gicheul is someone she cares since childhood, it is not all about romantic feeling. But she knows junmo's action is not wrong either but still its hurt. At last, all of them get promoted but at what cost? They feel empty at the end like the empty auditorium with no reporters, just emptiness. At the end, junmo visited gicheul grave, sharing cigarettes showing junmo thingking of gicheul as a true friend. and giving his wedding ring, showing that the divorced is what junmo going to pay for the rest of his life to gicheul instead of the guilty that gicheul want. this is really the worst of evil.

They both loved each other for sure, & they both did cross the line in the name of undercover investigation. For me, i would say its junmo who put everything on risk n forgot abt his personal life at some point due to his greed to get promoted. She did remind him this was goin to get ugly.He did make sin equally as the villian killing so many ppl too

Best drama for me 2024. The 2 male leads superb 💘💯🔥👍. Have watched twice and it stays with me for days. Talk about an emotional roller-coaster. I had to join Disney to see and it was worth every penny. 🇰🇷🔥💘.

She loves her husband so much..she only play mind games, so her husband could finish his job faster and safe. Her concern for her high school lover is strictly for him stop doing crime, none other than that. At the end, when gichould died, she feels sad, because a long time friend and first love as died. No other than that. Too bad on the ending scene, they didnt talk and come clean with everything, my personal opinion, if they did, they will move on and get back together, because their love is way more than what it seems. Because their eyes speaks for it.
