We didn't have IBIS for ages and we got by just fine. Lens stabilization was more than enough and still is.
IBIS has many uses. It makes a camera a lot better on a gimbal. It also allows pulling focus on the lens with the hand and especially through a follow focus with far less shaking. These two uses make a difference that is huge. Usable vs unusable shots. I know nobody mentions these things, but if you use these cheap camera bodies professionally IBIS is a critical feature. There is no ibis thst is compatible with panning or tilting, but the instability is hidden in these shots.
It sucks that the Fuji gfx 100 RF isn't stabilized because they didn't want to make it 5mm thicker
I'm going to get a lens that doesn't have image stabilization and neither does my camera have ibis. Is this a problem or not?
