One might say that to achieve this tone...everything must be....in it's right place
That first chord hits so damn hard
what a fantastically simple song, thanks for showing us it mate.
Thanks to your simple instructions, I knocked this out on my Uhe Zebra HZ in about a minute. Some of the best patches are really very simple - a good reminder to not let the gear get in the way of creativity.
Wow great short! Love this format for synth tutorials, very quick and to the point.
I got recommended this video because I searched for this song and came across a guy who explained it in a really unintuitive way using a specific software synth, so I just had to share with you that this video is the perfect version of what I was actually looking for, 10/10 kudos ššš
I love this sound, will try this out on my grandmother (the synth)
I mean, you obviously know that you got it you know? But the moment I heard you hit those chords, it wasn't me hearing Radiohead it was this art that we all appreciate and it put in immediate lump within my neck and quickly I realized I'm here mad-fighting back tears. So damn pretty. Dahwg...
I've been looking for a place to really learn how to use synthesizers, there are so many settings i don't know where to start! Giving exact settings for such a common sound helps a ton!
I just rocked out to it today in the car. My favorite Radiohead album! I am going to go home and jam on the keys later!
I am so happy to find another of your quick but very helpful tutorials! š will definitely try it later
Thanks Iām gonna try this now
This cropped up in my feed and I was interested to see if you created it a different way than I did in my tutorial a couple of years back. Given the settings and explanation are identical to mine, I'm guessing this is just a remake of my patch, right? Particularly as you then also did my Rhubarb Prophet patch, which is the next sound in the same video. That's all cool if so, but a small mention in the description would be appreciated.
Sounds really amazing! Love that song šµ

Iām not a keyboard player but thank you for helping to a people that searching exactly this one. Helpful recommendations I suppose šš»
I tweaked the settings a bit in my virtual synthesizer, but it sounds very similar, thanks for that short and sweet tutorial
This is great. I have a P5 in my studio(bedroom). Going to give this a go. Thanks for the super helpful tip!
