Watching from Southern California in the Inland Empire, where 2 bdrm apartment rentals are about $2500.00, electricity $125, gas $50, wifi $80, water $40 each month at a minimum. Thats about $2800 just for a place to live :/
Can't wait to retire in Mexico, slow the roll and shed the US mania :) Hasta manana !

Greetings from Tucson, Arizona.
I've been a subscriber for a few months and I'm in the process of selling my house
so I can fulfill my childhood dream of moving to Mexico - Lake Chapala area.

@beavasquez8607

Watching from Northern California -- I cannot wait to make Ajijic my home. 70 days from today!!!

@loumaga8331

My wife and I are here now, looking at properties and are fairly fluent in Spanish.
I would like to say to anyone reading this to be aware. This is not Canada or the US. This is Mexico and all of the people in and around Lake Chapala speak Spanish. Yes, the odd place might have someone that can understand and speak a little English...but don't depend or expect that while here you are going to do just fine only speaking English. The locals down here are very friendly and eager to help, but they can only do so much to bridge the language barrier.

@manoloortega2196
