I don't have any solid data, but I think there's some kind of loot conversion going on, because on several occasions I've gotten a big stack of gold (500-1k) with zero monsters around when the God of War timer expired.

hey, do you perhaps know of any restrictions on gold drop? I don't get any gold from mobs on T8, i have to farm T7.2 because i get like 4 times more gold

All posts video about gold, and no one says what you need this gold for. This gold is useless; garbage season with no profit.
