Alex, I am your fatherโฆ.metaphorically. He is me, including his age. As a senior player with a son who tries to help me, can we have more of this please? Not only is it super instructional, but itโs real too in every way. Few coaches are providing any content tailored to our age group. Well done!
I took up golf at age 38 for business purposes. I was hooked immediately. I continue to play weekly at age 72. My Dad was an avid golfer, club member and a 12 handicap. He tried like hell to get me interested but I had no interest. He told me one day I would want to play and he was right. He left me and my brother some high end blades and real woods. Sadly though I never got to play with him as he passed when I was 28. A big regret for me was not playing much earlier in life and I could have played with Dad. He would have liked that.
Working with your Dad and making things so simple was first class You are lucky to have such a great Dad
Keep up the great work, Alex!! I fit in your dad's age group. I just had a lesson on Frinday, and my coach wanted me to work on a couple of tweaks ... then this instructional vlog came out. Of course, the gel that put it all together was keeping my left shoulder facing the target as long as I could! Which led to a great follow-through position where my coach wanted me to be ... Aha!! Yes, and gained 10 - 15 yards already.
Just so nice seeing you do this with your Dad. The love & admiration was so evident. Great lesson to watch too.
I love the father/son dynamic. Outstanding sirs!
Super happy for you...being able to play and COACH with your Dad...enjoy the MEMORIES FOR A LIFETIME ALEX!!
Nice to see you helping your dad and all your viewers.great video.tell your day playing off mine would be a joy for me๐๐.
These one on one lessons let us viewers really see your passion. The interaction with your father or any other of your students is really working and I have been a subscriber for years. I really understand now what you saying weeks ago when you decided to make a change to the content. Very nice.
Great video and father and son moment. Im 64 and just starting golf. Thanks for the lesson. You teaching others on video helps us veiwers. โ๏ธโณ๏ธ๐
Brilliant Alex. Iโm the same age as your Dad and this resonates so much. Hopefully youโll see some improvement when we next week. Also, good luck on YOUR journey. Iโm rooting for ya mate! โค๏ธ
Wish my dad was still here to have another round.
What an awesome video Alex. And I bet that felt GREAT being able to help your dad out like that! ๐โณ
Great lesson gents , only club Iโm struggling with atm !!! So Iโll be trying these things tomorrow, makes a lot of sense , plus I used to play a lot of tennis so that resonates ๐ p.s Alex, nice to see you out of the charity shop gear ๐๐๐
Great video Alex!Love your dad and the work you did with him. That's me.... short turn, little release and a miss right. Great info, can't wait to try it when the snow melts here in New York. I had to sit through Scotland's loss to Ireland. So this video was needed. But I am hoping for a rebound from the boys next week!!
One of your best vids so far, very helpful. I'm 60 and needed all the tips you laid out here! Thanks!
Great video, I can relate the same as your dad. Some great drives or one right one left, then your head goes, what am i doing wrong, it was fine yesterday, earlier, whatever. The one thing I would really like to improve this, would have been an alignment stick at his feet! After watching twice, he is aligned perfectly as you pointed where to aim at (trees just to right of bunker). After the initial 2 shots, he is aligned right of the dark tree, right foot slightly further back, enhancing that draw. Not being critical, just pointing out, if we had that feet position the same, every shot it would enhance the video & lesson. Cant wait for my next round..๐๐
I think this is one of the best videos I've ever seen to fix over the top slicers with driver, superb mate.
Your dad has a great swing ! He clearly has an excellent teacher. Lovely to see. ๐
