This is easily the most excited I've ever been for an album ever. You have no idea. Volume 1 came out during my last year of high school that I remember so fondly about, and listening to the album that same summer when it came out after I graduated was one of the most amazing and chill experiences I've ever had with everything that was also happening at the time. Ever since that year in 2017, I've listened to the album every year every summer, and hoped one day Calvin Harris would release a Volume 2 to be able to experience more of that. I thought if there was a first volume there'd have to be a second volume eventually, right? Potion dropped and I heard the confirmation of the next volume, and it made freak out in excitement. This is genuinely what I've wanted to happen for years and I'mma listen to this album nonstop till the end of this summer, and just like the first volume will listen to it every year from now on. The first volume was already legendary enough in being the ultimate and unmatched summer vibe. This will continue that, and finally provide a second dose of what it felt like to first listen to Volume 1 in 2017. That year was really special, and now the album that made that year for me will get a follow-up all these years later. It's been rough often times lately since 2020, and having this album happen now of all times genuinely feels like a sign to me of better things to come. August 5th. LET'S GOOOOOOO.
